Dave Gage Thoughts: A solid 16-hole chromatic with an aluminum comb and stainless steel reeds with plates attached to the comb with screws. One of the disadvantages of the traditional pear wood comb is that after time, moisture can cause the comb to crack and cause air leaks. You will never have that problem with the Seydel aluminum comb. Unlike most chromatic harmonicas on the market, you can buy replacement reed plates and other parts for this model.
