Pro-quality, Key of “C”, 12-holes, 3 complete octaves, hole 1 is “middle C”. The Hard Bopper chromatic, developed in collaboration with renowned jazz harmonicist Toots Thielemans, is designed to stand out when played in the context of a full band. Heavy, chrome plated reedplates and extra large reeds give this 12-hole chromatic greater volume and a more aggressive sound than other models.
The Hard Bopper’s thicker reed plates make it great for blues or rock music and the reed design permits the articulate, fast runs demanded by jazz. The Hard Bopper chromatic features a pearwood comb and chrome-plating on both covers and mouthpiece.
